Along the way, we meet all sorts of people. people we can or can't get along with, people we say hi and bye to, people who cares for us just the way we are without seeking selfish benefits out of it.

I thank God, that,
I have life
when I fall, there's someone to help me up
in difficult times, someone speaks wisdom into the situation
when I rejoice, someone rejoices even more with me
before I speak, someone knows what I have in mind
someone knows me inside out
someone is capable of loving me and disciplines me
someone cares for me with so much sincerity
someone always points me to God

I thank God, that I get to know this someone, besides Him, who loves me the way I am, and teaches me things others wouldn't teach me. I truly love this someone, and I thank God for this angel He sent to me. May your life be filled with joy and blessings abundantly from above, with peace and health hence forth. Happy birthday, mum!!=D

starting point in all you do: you are a child of God, you have come to experience this love, and you are to make a difference. first a child of God, then a daughter, sister, cousin, friend, student, engineer, teacher, doctor, business person etc.
check it out, where do you stand with God?
check it out, why're you doing wat you're doing?
check it out, where're your eyes fixed upon?
check it out, what're the essentials and what're mere distractions?
check it out, who're you trying to please? God or man?
check it out, have you given thanks for all answered prayers, all the promises He's fulfilled?
may we be reminded who we are in Him and what is expected of us. blessed week ahead!!

slave, so humble some might take him as a possession (as 'it')
the only reason for existence is his master
the only purpose is to please and serve his master
the only will he could have is the master's will
the only time to rest is when his master says so
the primary thought: 'your wish is my command'

'Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.'

'Instead, the greatest among you should be like the youngest, and the one who rules like the one who serves. For who is greater, the one who is at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who is at the table? But I am among you as one who serves.'

immense humility to be a slave. given the choice, it's all worth trying to be a good one, aint it?

One year just flied by. I thank God for all.
all that had happened,
all the shouts of joy & cries in helplessness,
all the people i came to know & the people i could know better,
all the achievements & failures,
all the happiness & sorrow,
all the laughter & tears,
all the times of growth & times i grew cold.

all in all, i thank God for who He has been, all He is, and all He'll be.
all i have and all i need, my Father, my Friend, my Encourager, my Lord, my God.
all glory & honour & praise be to my almighty God!

Day in Day out

Day in day out
Meeting people somewhere somehow
Some easily befriended
Some making us bewildered

Do we choose who we'll meet?
Coz it's always good to hav good company
Friends to encourage, love and share
Relatives that make sure they're always there

But what happens when people don't get along?
Do we turn our backs and say so long?
Or do we try to make them feel belong?
Coz Jesus' love is all they long?

We learn day by day
Through those who show they care
That we ought to love and point the way
Coz we're unworthy to have been loved this way

Though it's a hard lesson to learn
It's simply easier said than done
When we fail, it feels like humpty dumpty having a great fall
But He's still our God, He still loves us though we're so small
So by God's love, we learn to love, and we love to love

Savior, please

I can't do this alone,
God I need youto hold on to me.

where can we put our security in?
material wealth, some might say
popularity, others might say
power and authority, some might say
good results, others might say
success, some might say
relationships, others might say
our image, some might say
insurance policy, others might say
good deeds, some might say
knowledge, others might say

how much wealth is needed to earn security?
will power and authority make us feel secure?
how bout the best results and the greatest success?
how much security will they bring?
how people look at us, how famous we are,
will it make us feel more significant?
will it take us to be in a relationship, even one which is wrong, to feel belonged?
how much knowledge will we need to be sure of the future?
how bout good deeds?
will they secure a place for us?

security is best placed in Jesus Christ, our Lord
people change, situations change, opportunities might be missed
but our God is the same, yesterday, today and forevermore
i am loved for who i am,
a child in helplessness found her refuge and strength
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you;
my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you,
in a dry and weary land where there is no water.
i want to honour you coz in you, i'm secure.
